Annual Giving Campaign

As Mother's Day approaches, we invite you to honor the Mother(s) of your choice with a tax de-ductible donation to WWMC's Mother's Day campaign.
If you make a donation during the 2014 Mother's Day fundraiser, we will send a Mother's Day Card to the Mother you wish to honor. Please include the name and address of your Mother with your donation on the form below.
We are hoping that you will continue to support the important work we do at WWMC. With your help, we can continue our mission of providing care to everyone who seeks it, and never have to turn away someone because of their inability to pay. Please help us to say “Yes” to those women needing our help for a healthy pregnancy, and the best start we can provide for healthy babies in our community. WWMC is a nonprofit 501C3, and all donations are tax deductible.

Our Philosophy and Approach to Birth

We believe that pregnancy and birth are normal life events and should be woman-centered. We strive to provide a sanctuary for normal birth with minimal use of intervention.

Our providers are committed to nurturing women and their families, providing comprehensive, holistic care. We are closely connected with the larger health-care system, with safe, smooth transfer and referral pathways.

Women's health and prenatal care is provided by our certified nurse midwives.

Alicia Fox, CNM received her master’s degree from Frontier Nursing University.  Prior to becoming a nurse-midwife Alicia worked as a labor and delivery nurse for eight years in the Chattanooga area. She is a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN. She is dedicated to improving health care for all women and providing family-centered care during pregnancy, labor, and birth.  Alicia has a special interest in vaginal birth after cesarean section (VBAC) and alternative/holistic therapies. She is married and the proud mother of two daughters and one son.

Penny Neal, PhD(c), MSN, CPNP is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in primary care. She completed her Master's degree in Nursing of Women and Children at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and is a doctoral candidate at East Tennessee State University. She is an Associate Professor of Nursing at King University and her research area of interest is childhood obesity. She lives in Roane Co. with her husband, and three children.
Penny will be available to see children of all ages for EPSDT well child checks including school & sports physicals. Free vaccines with individualized vaccination schedules including school mandated vaccinations are offered through the VFC program. Expanded services will also include laboratory and clinical screenings as well as regular follow up for chronic disease.

Penny will introduce the unique and new My Life: Healthy Kids Clinic which offers an individualized approach to healthy behavior changes through her personalized sessions focused on healthy life style choices, improving nutrition, and increasing physical activity in children with weight management concerns.
